Do you accept insurance? 

Yes! I am currently In-Network with BlueCross BlueShield, Health Partners, PreferredOne, and UCare. For all other insurance providers, I am out-of-network (private pay) and offer a sliding fee scale. Please know that some private health information will be disclosed to insurance companies when utilizing benefits.

I am committed to providing counseling to those who would benefit from working with me. If you wish to avoid using insurance or do not have insurance, are experiencing financial hardship, or if you are not able to use your insurance for counseling with me, we will work together to find a fee that will be suitable for you.

When paying privately or using out-of-network benefits, payment is due at the time of service. Insurance co-payments are due at the time of service.

Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?

Yes! You may use your HSA or FSA account to pay (or receive reimbursement) for counseling and psychotherapy services – please confirm with your benefit provider. If you wish to be reimbursed by an insurer or receive Out-of-Network benefits, you should first contact your insurance company and inquire about your mental health Out-of-Network benefits. I can supply you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance company. Please know that private health information may be disclosed to insurance companies when utilizing benefits.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted. For counseling and psychotherapy, you may also be able to pay with any debit cards associated with a HSA or FSA account – please check with your benefit provider.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

A 24-hour notice is required if you cannot make your appointment.  If you know sooner than 24-hours in advance that you cannot make a scheduled appointment, I request that you let me know as soon as you are able to.  While exceptions will be made for illnesses and emergencies, if an appointment is missed without giving 24-hour notice, a fee equivalent to the rate of sessions will be applied.
